Friday, May 18, 2018, with the first start at 15:00, will be held the 15th edition of the Electro Sistem Cup at Cross, a competition that addresses pupils and students from all over Maramures county. The contest will take place in Baia Mare, in the proximity of Campia Tineretului (near the Viorel Mateianu stadium). The entry will be made on site starting at 13:00. This cross is organized by the Electro Sistem Sport Club, in partnership with the Ministry of National Education and Research, the Maramures School Inspectorate and the Maramures County Sports Directorate. The participation categories (boys and girls) and the cross distances are as follows: – Classes I-II – 400 m – Classes III-IV – 600 m – Classes V-VI – 1500 m – Classes VII-VIII – 3000 m – Classes IX-X – 4000 m – Classes XI-XII and students – 5000 m Prizes: – 1st place: 100 lei, cup, T-shirt, diploma, sweets – 2nd place: 60 lei, medal, T-shirt, diploma, sweets – 3rd place: 40 lei, medal, T-shirt, diploma, sweets – places 4-10: T-shirt – the accompanying teachers will also receive a T-shirt – the top 3 places will be awarded in the ranking of the best-represented schools in this competition The scoring system is the following: one point for each starting entrant, plus 5, 4, and 3 points for the first place players. There will also be a tombola with prizes to which all competitors will take part. Drawings will be made using www.random.org based on the contest number. The schools will present a table with the participating students, showing the name, class and date of birth. Only the students present on these tables can receive the point awarded to each participant in the contest on educational institutions. Individually enrolled students can represent the school and will appear in the individual rankings, but will score for their educational institution only if they are ranked in one of the top three places. Competitors awarded with the first 3 places will present the identity card or the birth certificate or a copy of one of these documents. This contest wishes to promote firstly the spirit of fair play and respect for the competition partner. Any issue raised during the competition will be settled amicably and will be judged in the spirit of the competition.
